The following Terms and Conditions will apply to tours booked on June 8, 2015 and later. Tours booked prior to that date will follow the previous Terms and Conditions.


Before you confirm a tour booking with us, we will give you an estimated price quote based on the services you need and the activities you are interested in.

Price quotations are subject to change until a booking has been confirmed. fully reserves the right to change or amend itineraries on a case-by-case basis depending on the situation on the ground. will always provide a suitable replacement of anything cancelled by us on an itinerary. With flight, train, ferry, and other modes of transport, tickets are subject to availability and price. reserves the right to change the mode of transport depending on availability and price.


In order to confirm a tour booking you must submit a deposit, which will be 10-30% of the tour quote (the deposit amount depends on the type of tour). Full payment of the tour is due at least 3 business days before the scheduled tour. If a booking is made within 3 business days of the requested booking date, then a full payment is necessary in order to confirm the tour. Payments can be done through PayPal or a wire transfer. Clients are responsible for transaction fees. This includes fees for bank wire transfers, PayPal transactions, and exchange rate conversions. Bank transfers often have a set fee paid directly to the bank and Paypal will charge 3.0% plus a 30 cent fee on most transactions. We reserve the right to charge back any fees incurred by us from any intermediary banks in between the rescinding and beneficiary bank.

All payments are done in USD unless otherwise specified. Should the customer want to pay in currencies other than USD, a predetermined margin from a currency index will be applied by to cover short-term currency fluctuations.

Cancellation policy

A cancellation made more than 3 business days from the tour date is eligible for a full refund. Business days are Monday through Friday. The deposit is non refundable for cancellations made within 2 business days from the tour date. (For DMZ and/or JSA tours, there are no refunds if cancelled within 3 business days before the tour date)

All transaction fees on refunds must be covered by the client.

If hotels, transportation, events were booked with, then the stricter terms and conditions between the hotel/transportation/event company and will apply.

If for any reason, a client does not complete any portion of their tour, delays the tour due to something unrelated to us or abandons their scheduled tour after arrival, will not grant a refund or partial refund, nor shall there be any credit given towards any future travel. We cannot be responsible for any expenses/penalties incurred before or after a scheduled trip. This includes, but is not limited to fees incurred due to a cancelled or postponed tour/event made by other company. Also keep in mind the visa requirements below. We cannot be responsible for giving refunds if you are denied entry into the country due to visa issues.

Important Travel Info


You must provide your own valid visa to visit South Korea, otherwise known as the Republic of Korea (ROK). cannot issue you a visa. You must comply with your respective consulate to make sure you have one before booking a tour with us.  It is the responsibility of all customers, regardless of nationality and destination, to check with the consulate of the country they are visiting for current entry requirements. As visa and health requirements are subject to change without notice, we recommend that you verify health and visa requirements with the appropriate consulate prior to departure.

JSA Tours of the DMZ:
There are strict rules to enter into the Join Security Area, otherwise known as JSA at the DMZ (the Demilitarized Zone). As it is run by the UN, they can accept or reject anyone at any time for any reason. We are not liable for tours that are cancelled by them. We will pass on any refund that has been issued to us. Also visas take 3 business days to process in order to receive permission to go to JSA. You MUST bring your passport and abide by a dress code. We will provide an email with more details about this dress code after the tour is confirmed. There are also strict rules inside JSA and the DMZ. Breaking them could lead to cancellation and expulsion from the DMZ. If you break the rules that are given to you, we cannot issue you a refund.

Medical treatment in Korea is not free, and it is strongly recommended that the customer take out their own health or travel insurance, AND check with the issuer on whether it is valid in the country of the tour. does not provide, nor imply provision of health insurance. Also there is no travel insurance with Should you require it, please let us know and we can recommend a good provider in South Korea.

Local Laws:

Customers are required to follow local laws and regulations at all times. In the result of a breach of local law, will not be held in any way responsible. reserves the right to expel customers who do not follow local laws from the tour, without refund.
