What makes Korea so great? From mountain range over mountain range to the bountiful East Sea, the first line of our national anthem tells it all. We will show you the best of the best over the next 4 days. We start with a ferry ride into Nami Island, the birthplace of the Hallyu-wood industry. We will then visit the city of Sokcho, where from the top of Mount Seorak, we see a beautiful contrast of mountain, city and sea.

We will then make our way down the east coast via the Sea Train, where we ride sideways facing the East Sea until stop at Samcheok Station. Here is where our driver will pick us up again to take us to the relaxing natural hot springs of Deokgu. Korean people work long hours. There is a process of healing that we do over the weekends. It includes hiking in the mountains, sitting in hot springs and releasing our stress into the wilderness. We will try to show you a slice of this Korean side of life here.

The 3rd and last day we will see 3 World UNESCO heritage sites in 1 city. The ancient capital of the Shilla Dynasty in the Gyeongju. This used to be the bustling “Seoul” of Korea and now some may consider it a backwards slow city. Regardless, our ancestors have left us with some beautiful pieces of artwork as this city is considered the museum with no walls.
