Hello, I'm a English-Korean interpreter who loves traveling and food. I love to travel other countries and experience many different cultures and this led me to think about how unique and interesting Korean culture is. I like to explore distinct characteristics of Korea and would like to share them to you.
Try Korean traditional dishes as street food in Korea! In Gwangjang market, not only tourists gather to try Korean street food but also native Korean people come to enjoy them. They have almost every typical street food including Kimbab, Ddeokbboki, and Boochimgae. The most famous dish in Gwangjang market is Yookheoi, the raw beef sauced with garlic and sesami oil is the most popular one among Koreans.

Screen golf is huge in Korea. You may not see it, but on every street corner there is at least 1 screen golf zone here. And the technology is sophisticated behind them. If your handicap is such and such on the real field, you can bet your handicap will be pretty similar in screen golf. With screen golf, we can play even when the weather doesn't permit. That's how crazy we are for golf in this country. We will spend about 3 hours playing screen golf and we can have lessons or we can just play. It's up to you! *Please message me before booking"

No matter what any other tour agency will tell you, the DMZ is currently closed. So we've discovered an alternate course off the beaten path for people who really want to see the DMZ. It's definitely becoming more and more one of the hottest places to see in Korea. It's been in hot demand ever since presidential summits taking place there. But since the JSA area is shut down there for renovation (or was that reunification?), we are introducing new place to see in replacement of that. The DMZ is always a fascinating place to see as it consistently transforms itself as a symbol of the Korean War to a beacon for peace and hope. The DMZ, or the Demilitarized Zone is a 247 KM border that divides the Korean peninsula into North and South Korea. That being said, where one section of the DMZ closes, another part is open for viewing into North Korea. We will trek all along the DMZ until we find an opening, so doing the tour one day could be totally different from then next. We will try to start out by going through the Military Checkpoint and go up to the Dorasan Observatory to look into the city of Kaesong in North Korea. It is also the ancient capital of Korea during the Goryeo Dynasty from 918AD to 1392AD. We will also go underneath the DMZ through a tunnel that was dug up by the North Koreans during the height of the tensions. It would have been used to plot another surprise attack on the South Korean had it not been told to us by a North Korean defector. When we discovered them, the North Koreans retreated and painted the walls black, saying they were looking for coal. The new additions to the tour in lieu of JSA are the trekking course up Gamak Mountain to see a view over a suspension bridge and take a ride on a traditional Korean boat called a Hangpo. This boat takes us along the Imjingak River which flows from North Korea and out into the Yellow Sea. Again, itinerary is subject to change due to actions taking place on the ground and with the UN. Should JSA open up, you will be sure that will be the first place we try.

After a hotel pickup from your hotel, you will travel to Nami Island. It is situated 6.3km from Seoul in the middle of the Han River. Nami Island is a place for rest and relaxation. Human beings, animals and trees share peace, love and harmony far away from crowds and civilization. You can have a wide variety of different cuisines and dining experiences in this island. After Lunch, we then continue to travel to Petite France, a French Culture Village. Also you can mix and match Petite France with other tour sites in the area like Jade Garden, Garden of the Morning Calm or Gangchon Railbike. Also if you have time, ask your driving guide to take you to Dumulmeori, one of the most beautiful scenery of Korea. You have to take a different route and most drivers will want you to bypass it to save time. But for a 20 minute detour, it's worthwhile the breathtaking views.

Bugaksan Mountain is a 342-meter high granite mountain in the middle of Seoul and is home to Gyeongbokgung Palace and a Joseon Dynasty fortress. Its proximity to Cheongwadae, the presidential residence, saw the area closed to the public for 40 years due to security concerns. But nowadays, we can freely hike this mountain if you register your ID at the starting point. We will start from Changuimun course and will get to enjoy the spectacular view of Seoul from the top. But, there are more! Did you know that it was a route for North Korean spies? Something was done in the mountain during Japanese occupations? I would like to share all of these behind stories with you while enjoying the nature. Why don't you come and get different view of Seoul? *Notice* - Visitors must carry accepted form of identification (e.g. passport of Alien Registration Card issued from Republic of Korea) - Duration: Walking about 1.5 hrs, Hiking about 2 hrs - Difficulty : Intermediate * What to bring - Hiking shoes, comfortable clothes, bottle of water and adventures mind :)
